Michelle Smoot - Optometrist​​​​​​​

Dr. Michelle Smoot is a 2008 graduate of the Indiana University Optometry School, IUSO. She worked as a research optometrist studying contact lenses and dry eye at the IUSO Borish Center following graduation. Before starting her own practice, Dr. Smoot completed a pediatric and binocular vision residency at IUSO in 2010. Dr. Smoot is a member of the American Optometric Association and Indiana Optometric Association.

​​​​​​​When Dr. Smoot and her husband, Klint, aren't working they enjoy competitive powerlifting, fishing, and traveling. They also enjoy spending time with their two dogs, Zelda and Zoey.

Klint Smoot - Optical Lab Manager

Klint Smoot graduated from the Optical Technician Program at IU in 2007. He worked at the IU School of Optometry in the optical laboratory and taught incoming optical students until 2013 when he joined his wife, Dr. Michelle Smoot at her practice. Klint is the optical lab manager at Smoot Eye Care.
